Rechargeable Candles - Why Use Electric Candles?

Rechargeable Candles
Rechargeable candles have been gaining popularity recently, for several reasons. Electric candles do not suffer from the drawbacks of wax candles, and have better efficiency and cost-effectiveness to boot. They also provide the same warm, soft light that people expect from candles, and the better ones are impossible to distinguish from wax candles. In this article, we’ll go over the benefits of using rechargeable candles, as well as how you can use them around your home to create an inviting space for parties, holidays, and get-togethers.
Rechargeable candles house batteries in the casing, which can be real wax to simulate the look and feel of a traditional candle. They use light-emitting diodes in their bulbs - the multiple light sources dim and brighten in a pattern that is generated randomly by a microchip in the candle. This creates a very realistic flickering effect that makes the candle look just like a real flame. The batteries inside can power the candle for more than a hundred hours at a time, and when they run out of juice they can simply be set in a station to recharge overnight. This makes electric candles very energy efficient, which is important if you are trying to convert to a more green way of living.
Rechargeable candles are also much safer than wax candles. The bulbs do not get hot, so if they get bumped or knocked over there is no risk of fire. There is also no hot wax that can burn skin or damage furniture, not to mention be a total pain to clean up. Electric candles even come with fasteners to allow them to secure firmly to any flat surface, in order to resist knocks. They can be safely used outdoors, as they will not be blown out or knocked over by gusts of wind. Try leaving them around walkways or in colored paper globes to light outdoor areas, gardens, and patios during parties.
The bottom line is that using rechargeable candles instead of a traditional wax one will save you a lot of money in the long run. Wax candles are fairly expensive, and replacing them after only a dozen hours or so of light can quickly rack up the cost. These types of candles can be used over and over because the bulbs only have to be replaced after about fifty thousand hours. Rechargeable candles are a great alternative to traditional ones.

Rechargeable Battery Operated Candles - Electric Lighting Solutions

Rechargeable Candles
More and more people have begun using rechargeable battery operated candles for lighting in their home. Why? Because it offers an affordable, easy way to get the same soft, ambient lighting that one gets from traditional candles. The electric variety has a number of advantages over their wax counterparts, and less of the shortcomings. In this article, we’ll take a quick look at the various benefits of using rechargeable candles, as well as some tips for using them in home décor and lighting.
The primary reason most people have begun using rechargeable battery operated candles is that they are so much more energy efficient than traditional wax ones. The world is becoming increasingly energy-conscious, and if you want to stay green it’s important to try and minimize the energy you use while maximizing the light you get. The candles typically last for over a hundred hours on a single charge (compared to about twelve on a standard-sized wax candle), and can be recharged dozens of times before the batteries must be replaced. The bulbs themselves will not have to be replaced for thousands of hours, making electric candles one of the most efficient forms of lighting.
Rechargeable battery operated candles use bulbs made of multiple light-emitting diodes or LEDs, which continuously change in brightness to reproduce a flame-like effect. A microchip randomizes this effect, making the flame change realistically. Even up close, it can be hard to tell the difference. With real wax bodies or glass holders, you can increase this effect so that they are virtually identical to actual flames. LED candles, however, will never generate heat, and therefore there is no danger of spilled wax damaging furniture or bumped candles causing fires.
Rechargeable battery operated candles can be used in the home as well as outside, unlike wax candles. If you need to decorate for a garden party or spruce up your patio, try putting them inside colored paper spheres for an exotic take on outdoor lighting, or lining them along small ponds or walkways for a meditative look. They can even be left where there is breeze or sunlight, and where normal candles will blow out or melt electric ones will be fine. The bottom line is that electric candles look just like real ones, provide the same type of light, and yet have none of the drawbacks of wax and fire, making them a great alternative for home lighting.

LED Window Candles - Decorating with Electric Candles

LED Holiday Lights
The holidays don’t have to be a huge hassle. LED window candles make decorating simple and easy, without any of the fuss of tangled cords or falling off the roof. These electric candles use light emitting diodes in order to simulate the effect of an actual candle flame, and are a fantastic way to light your home beautifully, easily, and affordably. In this article we’ll take a look at some of the ways you can use LED candles to decorate your home during the holidays, as well as some of the advantages to using electric candles over wax ones.
LED window candles are essentially candle-shaped battery packs with LED bulbs attached - some include microchips that allow the candle to flicker realistically by randomizing which of the diodes in the bulb are on at a given time. This produces the illusion of movement and changes the luminosity, making them indistinguishable from an actual flame. LED candles are also very energy efficient. They can run for over a hundred hours on a charge, and can be recharged for even more use. The bulbs on an LED candle will last over fifty thousand hours before they need to be replaced which should be enough for several holiday seasons.
Having candles in your windows has been a symbol of welcoming travelers for a long time. Try putting them above wreaths, around your window decorations, or even standing alone for a warm, cheery effect. Instead of having to untangle a giant mess of tiny lights, climb a ladder to the roof, and then work around the entire house, you can simply line up LED window candles wherever you like. They also work great in foyers, walkways, and other areas that benefit from soft, ambient lighting.
The LED window candles are also much safer than real wax candles. They do not get hot, and therefore will never burn skin, spill hot wax, or cause fires if tipped over. This allows you to safely leave them at home without fear of starting a fire while you’re gone, and even on overnight. Using window candles in your home is a great way to make it a little more cheerful any time of year, although they look especially beautiful when paired with traditional holiday decorations. If you’re looking for a cheap, safe alternative to wax candles for holiday decoration, consider using battery powered window candles this year and see if you don’t like them more.

LED Votive Candles - Meditating with Light

LED Votives
LED votive candles have become a popular choice of lighting for professional meditation centers, yoga classes, and other areas that rely on a soothing environment for their work. If you want to try creating your own meditative space at home for study, work, or just relaxation, then try using electric candles to do so. They have many benefits that wax candles don’t, and few of the drawbacks. They do provide the same soft, warm light that is the reason candles have been chosen for meditation for centuries. In this article, we’ll take a quick look at some of the ways you can use electric candles to set up a calming space in your own home.
One of the major benefits of LED votive candles is that they can safely be used outside - normal wax candles will melt in the sun or get blown out in wind, but electric candles do not suffer from this problem. This makes them a fantastic way to light walkways in gardens, areas with hanging plants, or edges of bodies of water. If you have a patio or porch, try placing them in globes of colored paper and hanging them from different areas. Since they will never burn away or heat up the paper, they can be left inside and used until the battery dies (usually well over a hundred hours). Even when the batteries die they can be recharged at plug-in stations for extra uses.
You can also place LED votive candles around work spaces to make them more calming and relaxing. Getting away from the stress of work or study can often be a simple matter of making the act more enjoyable and soothing, and having a softly lit room can make a huge difference. Try placing the candles in areas where they will simulate natural light, such as along windowsills. Electric candles can also be safely used around books and paper, so bookshelves and desk corners are both good locations for them.
LED votive candles can be used in a variety of ways around the home, and are almost exactly identical in appearance to actual candles. The multiple diodes in the bulb change in luminosity, giving it the appearance of actual flame. This flickering, warm light is almost impossible to distinguish from real flame, even if you’re looking right at it. LED candles are a great way to turn any space into a calm environment.

LED Candles - An Alternative Lighting Solution

LED Candles
Candles have always been a great way to provide a unique form of light and add ambiance to any setting, but traditional wax candles have several drawbacks that LED candles overcome. Electric candles also provide several benefits over traditional candles that make them a great way to both conserve energy and money, and to keep that same quality lighting in your home. In this article, we’ll go over the benefits of replacing your traditional candles with LED versions, as well as a few tips for how to use electric candles around your home.
LED (or light-emitting diode) candles are powered by batteries inside the mold, and can run for hundreds of hours on a single charge. LED candles are so efficient, that a single bulb can last for over fifty thousand hours before it has to be replaced - and when it does, they are fairly cheap. Many electric candles will come with a charging station, allowing you to get even more use out of them before having to spend any more money. In contrast, a wax candle will last a dozen to two dozen hours before having to be replaced, whereas an electric candle (with a charging station) can last years.
LED candles also can come with built-in microchips that simulate real flame by changing the intensity of the light in a randomly-generated way, giving off a flickering effect. They do not generate heat, and therefore will not burn or spill hot wax if they are bumped. Most varieties also have light sensors or timers that allow them to be automatically turned on and off depending on the amount of light in a room, or the time of day.
Decorating with LED candles works in much the same way as with wax ones, with a few differences. Placing them in areas where the bulb cannot be seen, such as on a mantle or other head-height location, will make them indistinguishable from traditional candles. They can be mounted on chandeliers, or set in bookends. Even if they are placed on a dining table, the intensity and flickering effect of the bulb makes it hard to tell that it is not an actual flame. They can be placed in locations that wax candles can’t. If wax candles are left outside, sunlight can melt them over time. This makes electric candles a great way to light patios, gardens, porches, and other outdoor areas.
